About us
In 2015, we decided to embark on a journey to create a different vision for education in Nevada. Inspired by a rap song, the name Intelligent Hoodlums comes from Mike’s struggle to be respected as a Black male educator. Together, we offer professional learning opportunities, run conferences, and generally try to disrupt how education is done. We have a combined 25 years of experience innovating as educators. Helping our fellow teachers is our passion.
